📋 Description

• Stay up to date with tax legislation and fiscal regulations at the municipal, state and federal levels through research on official websites and external consultancies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. • Monitor the status of fiscal devices linked to the State Department of Finance (SEFA) to ensure proper use, by verifying information with the competent authority. • Verify the tax status of all company units at municipal and state levels, respond to notices and regularize pending issues through electronic consultations with public authorities and official websites, aiming to comply with legal requirements and mitigate the risk of fines. • Calculate, prepare and follow up on tax payments—whether withheld, payable or resulting from installment agreements—across all jurisdictions for all company units using internal reports and systems, to meet principal obligations with the competent authorities. • Serve internal and external clients by answering questions and providing guidance on area processes and procedures, as well as current tax legislation, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed about operations, workflows and the company’s position. • Perform tax bookkeeping and issue service invoices for the company using the electronic systems provided by municipalities to ensure proper fulfillment of this obligation. • Determine and prepare payments for withholding taxes (PIS, COFINS, CSLL, IRRF, INSS and ISS) using internal and public systems and reports, ensuring principal obligations are executed in accordance with legal requirements. • Issue and correct ancillary tax filings at municipal and state levels using internal tools and programs provided by tax authorities to keep the company current with its fiscal obligations. • Prepare integration of documents and system data loads, and reconcile with satellite system data through automated processes to maintain continuity of fiscal operations. • Gather data, information and documents requested by auditors to comply with company guidelines.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, Administration or related fields. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the role; experience in retail is desirable. • IT Skills: Intermediate MS Office; experience with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and fiscal management software (Synchro or similar) is desirable. • Technical Competencies: Basic accounting, administrative and financial knowledge; understanding of tax legislation and fiscal routines. • Behavioral Competencies: Proactive execution, results orientation, interpersonal skills, sense of urgency, ownership mindset, resilience, flexibility, adaptability to change, internal and external customer focus, problem-solving ability, communication skills. • Mandatory Training: Internal processes and procedures, updates on tax regulations.
