📋 Description

• Lead electrical design and provide technical support across distributed energy projects. • Review single-line diagrams, load flow studies, and interconnection packages. • Collaborate with utilities, customers, and consultants on project engineering. • Ensure designs meet electrical codes, standards, and project requirements. • Support commissioning and operational troubleshooting for energy assets. • Additional tasks as required.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program. • At least 5 years of professional experience in the renewables and environment industry, focused on developing and implementing solutions that accelerate the energy transition. • Hands-on experience with battery storage energy generation technologies and a proven ability to manage multiple projects. • At least 5 years of experience working with utilities, customers, and external engineering partners. • Strong knowledge of IEEE standards and NFPA-related electrical standards. • Authorized to work in the United States. • Able to travel to client sites as needed. • Experience with PV solar energy generation technologies (preferred). • Background negotiating contracts and overseeing delivery schedules (preferred). • Experience with power system modeling tools for load flow studies, as well as solar or storage design software and AutoCAD (preferred). • Familiarity with energy efficiency measures (preferred). • Experience managing consulting engineers and vendors (preferred). • PE license (preferred).
