📋 Description

• As a Senior Kubernetes Architect, you design, build and operate highly scalable Kubernetes and container platforms in complex cloud and hybrid environments • You define target architectures, platform standards and automation strategies for Kubernetes environments • You are responsible for the design, operation and troubleshooting of modern container ecosystems (Rancher, OpenShift, vanilla Kubernetes) • You design GitOps, CI/CD and IaC frameworks for repeatable and secure deployments • You advise customers on cloud integrations, data sovereignty, security, compliance and scaling strategies • You conduct technical reviews, lead modernization programs and coach engineers • You drive observability, automation and reliability across the entire platform stack

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience designing and operating Kubernetes, OpenShift or Rancher platforms • Solid knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, sovereign clouds) • Deep expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, IaC (Terraform/Ansible) and container security • Experience with service mesh, ingress, policy engines (OPA/Kyverno) and observability stacks • Strong understanding of scaling, high availability and network design in container environments • Confident in customer communications, architectural decision-making and escalations • Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel
