📋 Description

• As an experienced STACKIT Architect, you design state-of-the-art sovereign cloud landscapes and actively shape the technological evolution of STACKIT-based platforms. • You lead architecture decisions, define target architectures and are responsible for complex cloud strategies for public sector and enterprise clients. • You design and implement platforms for containers, AI workloads and business-critical applications in high-security environments. • You conduct technical reviews, manage modernization and migration programs, and support organization-wide cloud transformations. • You coach junior engineers, take on technical leadership in projects and strengthen technical excellence within the team. • You establish automation, security and governance standards (IaC, GitOps, compliance, Zero Trust). • You act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients, including participation in escalation and architecture boards.

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Platform Engineer or similar role with a focus on sovereign cloud ecosystems. • Deep understanding of the STACKIT service portfolio (SKS, SKC, SKE, Object Storage, IAM, Logging/Monitoring) and/or sovereign cloud offerings from Ionos, OVH or the major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google). • Solid expertise in Kubernetes platforms (Rancher, OpenShift, upstream/vanilla) and modern infrastructure stacks. • Strong knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible), GitOps (Flux, ArgoCD) and automating security-critical platforms. • Experience designing multi-AZ and high-availability architectures as well as robust security and compliance concepts (BSI C5, GDPR). • Strong communication, consulting and leadership skills in complex client and project environments. • Excellent German and English skills and willingness to travel as required by projects.
