âą Provide accurate assignment of ICD-10 codes for medical records âą Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures âą Abstract diagnostic and procedural codes into the network system âą Monitor assigned work queues and manage documentation encounters âą Collaborate with Coding Supervisor on specific problem accounts
đŻ Requirements
âą 3 years of experience in a hospital inpatient setting âą Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology âą Demonstrated knowledge of coding guidelines âą Minimum of one certification such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CIC âą Strong detail orientation and problem-solving skills
