• Mentor and teach students • Conduct targeted outreach and provide instruction to target groups • Support students through posts/announcements and emails • Communicate regularly with students regarding their participation and performance • Develop genuine and meaningful relationships with students
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (required) • Deep understanding of and commitment to BYU Pathway Worldwide’s mission • Adaptability to new processes, procedures, and technologies • Excellent interpersonal skills • Proven reliability and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing • Experience with online teaching/learning, especially with at-risk learners (preferred) • A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of work experience may be considered • Experience with Python, C#, or Java is required • Expert proficiency with basic programming concepts • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms • Experience with version control software, such as GitHub • Ability to communicate clearly in writing
