📋 Description

• Develop the visual concept of a character based on a creative brief. • Research and collect relevant visual references. • Create multiple concept directions and design variations. • Design and refine the character's silhouette, proportions, outfit, equipment, accessories, and overall visual language. • Produce a high-quality final character concept. • Prepare production-ready materials for the 3D team. • Create turnaround sheets (front, side, and back views). • Prepare detailed callout sheets for clothing, materials, equipment, and structural elements. • Collaborate with the Art Director to refine the character's artistic direction. • Implement revisions based on feedback and review sessions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concept Artist or Character Designer in the game industry. • Strong understanding of character design principles. • Solid knowledge of human anatomy. • Ability to work in both realistic and semi-realistic art styles. • Experience creating production-ready designs suitable for 3D pipelines. • Proficiency in Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent software. • Good understanding of the full game character production pipeline. • A strong portfolio featuring characters for games, films, or AAA productions. • Nice to Have: Experience designing characters for sci-fi, cyberpunk, or post-apocalyptic settings. • Understanding of 3D character modeling and animation workflows. • Experience using AI tools during research and visual exploration. • Experience collaborating with outsourcing teams and game studios.
