📋 Description

• Streamline marketing operations at team.blue by building agentic systems • Work within the Applied AI team on marketing automation projects • Map marketing processes across brands, markets, and languages • Quantify time, resource consumption, and ROI impact of agentic automation • Build proofs of concept, take them to production, and measure impact • Investigate competitive and pricing monitoring, performance reporting and diagnosis, SEO and AI-answer visibility, content refresh, localization and lifecycle production, paid search and social account hygiene, and tracking and consent QA • Extract requirements from domain experts and reshape requests into effective processes • Design state transitions, triggers, branches, API calls, human review points, and failure handling • Build guardrails including dry-run modes, approval gates, least-privilege API scopes, and documented undo mechanisms • Design human-in-the-loop thresholds and review queues • Create evaluations for diagnosis accuracy, source validity, brand voice, calibration, and generated output quality • Validate tracking data and quantify errors • Integrate agents with webhooks and scheduled triggers using idempotent handlers • Optimize model selection, routing, cost, and latency • Evaluate vendor APIs, rate limits, quotas, data models, and integration costs

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years building data and ML systems in industry • Classical ML and applied statistics expertise • Experience working across both sides of the LLM shift • Experience as the only or first data/ML hire or sole function owner • Experience shipping systems authorized to act on live systems affecting real customers • Expert in Python and ML • Ability to ship end to end, including readable Python, current tooling, containerization, instrumentation, and deployment • Production experience with multi-step, tool-calling LLM workflows, including orchestration, retries, idempotency, timeouts, and partial-failure recovery • State-machine design experience • Experience integrating with third-party APIs, including authentication flows, rate limits, pagination, sandbox behavior, and schema changes • Cost and latency engineering experience, including model routing, caching, and batching • Safety practices for action-taking systems, including staging modes, approval gates, least-privilege scoping, and rollback • Evaluation design for generative and agentic output, including LLM-as-judge, golden-transcript regression suites, red-teaming, and calibration • Process mapping and quantification skills • Technical vendor evaluation skills • Proof of eligibility to work in the country of application • Nice to have: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field • Nice to have: PromptOps at scale • Nice to have: Prior exposure to martech, ad-tech, SEO tooling/APIs, or customer-facing automation • Nice to have: Experience evaluating generated output across multiple languages
