📋 Description

• The primary role of the IT Senior Project Manager is to oversee the development, management and implementation of initiatives as directed by leadership. • Work with organization leaders and team members to develop and manage projects and project plans. • Hold the project stakeholders (clients) accountable in delivering projects on time and within scope/budget and assist in problem solving and issue resolution. • Lead multiple project workstreams for multiple clients, small engagement teams or components of large, complex engagements. • Responsible for project execution & delivery, governance, prioritization, resource planning, execution tools, training, and monthly reporting as they apply to assigned projects and new/improved processes. • Responsible for the supervision of assigned IT resources and staff through the completion of the project or initiative. • Provide leadership to a variety of challenging roles, make significant contributions in a relatively short time, take responsibility for the way you manage your time, develop your skill set, and deliver creative, compelling insights to the client and assist in problem solving and issue resolution. • Guide and mentor Technical Project Coordinators and entry level Project managers.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or BA Degree Bachelor's Degree in industrial/management engineering • PMP certified Upon Hire • 7-10 years in a project manager role including 2-3 years supervisory experience with experience in a health care system environment • The role must be knowledgeable about project management techniques and tools. • Ability to facilitate and also apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues or problems is important. • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. • Ability to travel to multiple WellStar locations • Intermediate or better competence in Microsoft Office applications • Understanding of relational database structures and concepts • Exceptional interpersonal, team building and communication skills • Ability to build consensus and foster change in organizational setting • Commitment to personal and professional growth • Sense of responsibility to self, team, and project • Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment • Ability to work cohesively with the Technology department counterparts
