📋 Description

• Act as a technical authority in the construction of the financial and accounting data platform. • Design and evolve the transactional data lake architecture on AWS, supporting accounting, managerial and reporting data. • Develop and maintain backend services, APIs and data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, consolidation and exposure of financial data. • Eliminate dependencies on manual file exchanges by promoting system integrations and automated workflows. • Ensure traceability, consistency, governance and auditability of financial data. • Implement strategies for incremental processing, reconciliation and financial consolidation. • Focus strongly on performance, resilience and reliability, especially during critical accounting close windows. • Define and apply standards for observability, CI/CD, security and operations. • Work closely with accounting, controllership, finance and business teams, translating functional needs into technical solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid, proven experience defining and developing data engineering solutions in complex environments. • Deep knowledge of data engineering, microservices and cloud technologies. • Proven track record delivering solutions for large-scale systems, with a focus on AI, resilience and cost-effectiveness. • Strong proficiency in backend languages (Python). • Good communication skills to explain technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders. • Hands-on experience applying AI in day-to-day work. • Deep knowledge of AWS and its services. • Ability to mentor and influence.
