• Own the stability, security, and scalability of global enterprise networks (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, firewalls) across cloud and on-prem environments. • Define and drive network modernization initiatives including automation, zero-trust architecture, performance engineering, and resiliency. • Lead a high-performing team of network engineers; set technical standards, enforce accountability, and develop engineering talent. • Act as top-tier escalation and incident commander for critical network events, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal business impact. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, DevOps, and Business Operations to support hybrid, high-growth environments. • Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management to ensure operational excellence. • Drive observability improvements through telemetry, actionable alerts, and predictive analytics using advanced monitoring tools. • Champion firewall policy enforcement, segmentation, and secure remote access strategies. • Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards. • Define and report operational KPIs (uptime, MTTR, change success rates) to leadership, driving transparency and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s Degree • 5 years of experience in network operations • 5 years of experience in switching/routing/wireless and firewall/VPN technologies • 3 years of experience in operating key processes including incident, change and problem management • 3 years of experience as a team lead either with matrixed team members or direct reports • Degree in Computer Science or Business Management (Preferred) • Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCDP (Preferred) • Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, or similar) (Preferred) • Enterprise wireless experience across office, manufacturing, and distribution environments (Preferred) • Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI (Preferred) • Familiarity with advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) (Preferred)
