📋 Description

• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligned with product and platform vision • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration • Define and execute the product/platform architecture roadmap with senior developers, architects, and tech leads • Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health • Break down initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental business value • Champion proposals from design through production implementation • Maintain technical documentation and create new artifacts as needed • Facilitate design discussions across teams • Act as a trusted technical leader through collaboration, influence, and shared ownership • Mentor developers through design reviews, joint agentic-AI sessions, and feedback • Evaluate emerging front-end, design system, accessibility, and component development practices • Define and evolve the design system roadmap, including Angular component architecture, design tokens, theming, documentation, packaging, and adoption patterns • Build, document, test, and maintain reusable accessible Angular components • Design and support module federation patterns for Angular applications • Partner with product managers, designers, developers, accessibility stakeholders, and engineering leaders • Translate between product, design, and engineering teams, clarifying trade-offs and resolving ambiguity • Create implementation guidance, usage examples, migration notes, and workshops • Review front-end implementations and guide accessibility, component reuse, API design, styling architecture, and Angular patterns • Use AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow • Evaluate AI-generated output for correctness, security, and architectural alignment • Identify and lead agentic automation opportunities • Establish guardrails and feedback loops for safe, effective AI tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on front-end engineering experience in enterprise-scale web applications • Expert-level Angular proficiency, including component architecture, dependency management, routing, build tooling, performance considerations, and maintainable application structure • Proven experience building, maintaining, or significantly evolving a reusable component library or enterprise design system • Deep proficiency with TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern front-end architecture patterns • Strong understanding of design tokens, theming, scalable styling architecture, component API design, documentation, and design-to-code collaboration workflows • Hands-on knowledge of building module federation for Angular applications and guiding teams on safe, scalable integration patterns • Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility requirements and ability to implement accessible Angular components using semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader-friendly interaction patterns • Experience with Storybook or similar tools for component development, testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams • Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and a track record of advocating for code quality • Experience with agentic-AI software development practices • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience, with demonstrated impact beyond a single team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality • Tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Angular, Angular module federation, Storybook, Nx, npm package workflows, Figma, Jira, and Confluence
