📋 Description

• Create architecture, prototypes, and design proposals aligned with product and platform vision • Influence technical direction through architecture reviews, RFCs, design discussions, and hands-on collaboration • Partner with senior developers, architects, and tech leads on the product/platform architecture roadmap • Balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and long-term platform health • Break down large initiatives into parallelizable work delivering incremental business value • Champion proposals through all phases of the SDLC, from design through production implementation • Improve core product build, CI/CD pipelines, and overall SDLC • Troubleshoot persistent production issues and drive reliability, observability, monitoring, and incident response • Maintain and create technical documentation • Facilitate design discussions across teams • Represent the team in technical discussions with technical, operations, product/UX, security, domain, and external stakeholders • Act as a trusted technical leader through collaboration, influence, and shared ownership • Mentor developers through design reviews, joint agentic-AI sessions, and feedback on skills, prompts, and agent inputs • Share knowledge of new technologies and industry best practices • Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and cloud capabilities • Build and maintain highly distributed microservice architecture • Design and develop highly scalable cloud services and applications • Define front-end architecture standards, including state management, component design, and design-system strategy • Partner with UX and Product to translate design systems into scalable, accessible components • Mentor front-end engineers and improve performance and accessibility

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated impact beyond a single team • Proven experience designing and operating distributed, cloud-native, SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scale, ideally on AWS • Strong software fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and a track record of advocating for code quality • Experience with agentic-AI software development practices • Experience designing and consuming HTTP APIs such as REST or GraphQL • Experience mentoring developers and influencing architectural decisions across teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements • Strong initiative to improve processes, tools, methodologies, and product quality • Experience building highly distributed microservice architecture using Java 25 and SpringBoot • Deep expertise in Angular or equivalent SPA framework and TypeScript • Proven experience owning front-end architecture and design-system strategy at scale • Strong track record with accessibility (WCAG) and front-end performance optimization • Use AI-assisted development tools as a standard part of daily workflow • Critically evaluate and take ownership of AI-generated output before it ships • Identify opportunities for agentic automation and lead rollout of AI-assisted workflows and tooling • Mentor developers on effective, responsible use of AI-assisted development tools • Establish team-level practices and guardrails for safe and effective AI tool use • Build and refine feedback loops improving collective AI tooling use over time
