📋 Description

• Contribute to the next generation of Five9’s modern SaaS platform, enabling businesses to improve customer service through AI in the Contact Center • Develop highly available, highly scalable, and reliable microservices • Apply cloud computing, software technologies, and open-source tools to resolve complex cloud technology platform challenges • Gain deep application-level knowledge of existing systems and contribute to their overall design • Troubleshoot the software stack and provide production support as needed • Collaborate with peers and contribute to the team’s work

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience as part of a Java development team using Spring Framework • Experience designing and building highly available and scalable applications • Good understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations involving virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking, event processing, massive data storage, and security • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field • 3+ years with Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP as plus) and Spring Cloud • Experience with GCP products such as Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, App Engine, and Cloud SQL • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Hands-on experience working as part of a Continuous Delivery team developing, testing, deploying, and managing production applications on Google Cloud Platform • Advanced degree in engineering or business discipline is highly desirable
