📋 Description

• Supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications • Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments • Performs computations and works on semi-routine assignments • May contact physicians for prescription clarification and enter prescription orders into the system • Ensures adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes • Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards • Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion

🎯 Requirements

• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state you reside • Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Inbound and/or outbound phone experience • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including: Outlook, Word and Excel • Adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Strong data entry
