📋 Description

• Lead engineering teams building scalable, reliable, customer-facing products • Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development and AI engineering tools across engineering teams • Own engineering delivery for customer-facing products from discovery through launch and operation • Apply modern full-stack, cloud-native, and distributed-system architecture • Build, lead, and retain high-performing engineering teams • Partner closely with Product and Design • Make architectural decisions for complex, scalable systems

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant technical leadership experience • 3+ years of engineering management or equivalent technical leadership experience • Strong experience building and operating customer-facing products • Strong product development background, from product discovery through launch and continuous improvement • Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems • Experience with Kafka and/or messaging systems • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases • Experience with NoSQL/document databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Firestore • Strong understanding of AWS or GCP • Working knowledge of React and modern frontend development • Experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, and asynchronous systems • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native development • Strong understanding of observability, reliability, security, and production operations • Practical understanding of AI/LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents • Experience using or leading adoption of AI coding and engineering tools • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills • Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels
