📋 Description

• Administer, monitor, and provide support for Database Management Systems (DBMSs) • Ensure database availability, integrity, security, and performance • Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance • Monitor application performance in development, testing, and production environments • Recommend improvements to data models to optimize performance • Perform data loading and migration between environments • Assess the impact of database changes and propose technical solutions • Support the implementation of database administration solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) • Experience administering and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMSs) • Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization (performance tuning) • Experience with relational and multidimensional database modeling • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes • Experience with relational, analytical, and NoSQL databases • Knowledge of DDL, DML, and DCL • Experience with table partitioning techniques • Experience working with very large databases (VLDBs) • Ability to conduct impact analyses and implement changes in database environments • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a bachelor’s degree in any field accompanied by a postgraduate certificate in Information Technology, with a minimum workload of 360 hours • Certification in Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, IBM DB2, SAP ASE, SAP IQ, or MySQL is a plus • Professional experience administering DBMSs in production environments • Proven experience analyzing and optimizing SQL query performance (query tuning) • Experience with relational data modeling • Experience with high-volume databases (VLDBs) • Experience with SAP PowerDesigner or an equivalent data modeling tool
