📋 Description

• Support the z/OS operating system and its utilities • Analyze application performance in z/OS and database environments • Program in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or higher • Work within the IBM ecosystem and mainframe environments • Design and configure CICS • Develop and maintain online and batch applications (balanced line) • Work with relational databases, including DB2 and CA-IDMS • Work with VSAM files • Use and analyze DUMPs • Perform database and business modeling with CA-GEn • Apply service-oriented SOA architecture • Implement DevOps tools and technologies • Contribute to code quality • Work on large-scale projects and in complex enterprise environments

🎯 Requirements

• Support for the z/OS operating system and its utilities • Application and database performance analysis in z/OS environments • Programming in Enterprise COBOL 4.0 or higher • Development of CICS transactions, including the ability to work with multithreading • Relational database modeling and business modeling using CA-GEn 8+ • Development of database routines using DB2 Native Stored Procedures • Practical use of CICS control and access interface tools, CICS/WEB, Broker, and MQ Series • Proven professional experience as a Mainframe/z/OS Platform Analyst • Practical experience with mainframe technologies, including JCL, TSO, Endevor, DB2 and/or CA-IDMS, CICS, and VSAM files
