📋 Description

• Lead and develop three product managers and fill an open fourth position • Run hiring from role definition to the final decision • Coach product craft, including discovery, prioritization, collaboration with engineering, and decision-making • Set clear goals, provide actionable feedback, and handle performance conversations • Represent the team and its priorities toward engineering, sales, support, and consulting • Sponsor initiatives and larger product bets in monitoring and observability • Carry initiatives from the initial problem statement through post-release adoption • Conduct user interviews, discovery, competitive analysis, and hands-on product use • Work with engineering leadership on scope, sequencing, and release trade-offs • Bring user, market, and internal data into annual planning

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading product people; formal line management is ideal, while a small team or strong mentoring track record can work • Solid technical grounding in IT infrastructure, networks, cloud, and containers • Ability to work effectively with engineers and SREs • Track record as a product manager or product owner in an agile environment • Experience working on products built for technical users • Evidence-based product decision-making and direct user engagement • Excellent English • German is a plus • At least one of: hands-on experience with monitoring or observability tooling; prior background as a sysadmin, SRE, or system engineer; or ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technology and turn it into product decisions
