âą Deliver comprehensive end-to-end process training for team members, focusing on GDS platforms and Travel Management Company (TMC) processes âą Develop training materials, documentation, and presentations for GDS systems (Worldspan and Travelport+) âą Ensure that training is aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and other deliverables for effective learning and development âą Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance throughput and optimize training processes âą Monitor, assess, and report on training effectiveness, adjusting as needed to meet team and company objectives âą Facilitate training sessions, including live (in-person and virtual) training and e-learning modules, to improve team performance âą Proactively identify training needs based on performance metrics and deliver solutions accordingly âą Stay current with industry trends, GDS advancements, and travel management best practices to continuously improve training programs âą Create dynamic and engaging training content and presentations âą Monitor and report on the training outcomes and performance of the learners and provide coaching and support as needed âą Collaborate with other trainers, managers, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and consistency of the training programs and services âą Serve as backup Consultant for other accounts/clients, as may be assigned âą Must be amenable to remote work in a separate designated office at home with occasional travel to training sites
âą High School Diploma or GED âą 2-3 years of experience in training and development within the travel industry âą Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical and non-technical users across different levels of the organization âą Previous experience in training, preferably in the travel industry or the GDS systems âą Proficient in using and teaching various GDS systems, such as Worldspan, Travelport+, Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus âą Strong familiarity with team travel processes, specifically Travel Management Company (TMC) operations âą In-depth understanding of training KPIs and deliverables âą Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver higher throughput and training effectiveness âą Experience in designing and delivering end-to-end process training in a travel-related environment âą Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills âą Ability to work independently and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously âą Previous experience in training, preferably in the travel industry or the GDS systems âą Expertise in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms âą Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
