📋 Description

• Lead the architecture strategy and execution for the SuperApp Porto. • Ensure mobile engineering excellence, architectural scalability, and technical sustainability. • Define, evolve, and govern the SuperApp architecture on Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift). • Govern the BFF layer implemented in Java (Spring Boot). • Manage app release cycles and ensure mature mobile CI/CD pipelines. • Implement and monitor continuous improvement cycles focused on engineering.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in native mobile development — Android (Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift) — with an architectural perspective across both platforms. • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) in BFF layers and integration with microservices ecosystems. • Strong knowledge in: • Large-scale app / super app architectures (modularization, design system, feature flags) • BFF patterns and experience-driven API contracts (REST, GraphQL, events, messaging) • Synchronous and asynchronous integrations • Hands-on experience with AWS and designing scalable, resilient cloud architectures. • Experience with mobile CI/CD, app store distribution, observability and SRE practices applied to mobile products. • Experience with metrics-driven engineering (DORA + mobile product metrics) and continuous improvement. • Technical leadership profile, with hands-on involvement when necessary. • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical decisions for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Strong client relationship skills and the ability to lead strategic discussions.
