📋 Description

• Lead the development and optimization of data systems on Azure • Resolve Level 3 incidents by proactively diagnosing issues and implementing solutions • Roll back changes when necessary to restore operations and minimize downtime • Assist teams in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for efficient workflows • Drive a “Shift Left” mindset by helping establish standards for effective runbook documentation • Perform corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance of data systems • Enhance monitoring and observability practices to improve the reliability and performance of the data ecosystem • Participate in and help lead post-mortem analysis to identify root causes of incidents and collaborate on preventative action plans

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Python / PySpark • Experience with Databricks and Azure • Strong SQL skills • Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and Software Configuration Management / Continuous Integration (SCM/CI) • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting expertise for complex systems • Knowledge of creating and implementing SOPs and runbooks • Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices • Understanding of data architecture and best practices for data pipelines is a plus • Advanced English proficiency
