📋 Description

• Direct the overall UX/UI strategy across web and native mobile channels • Enforce a single, converging design language across platforms • Establish and govern shared design-system tokens, components, and interaction patterns • Oversee end-to-end user journeys for Single Page Checkout, Product Detail Pages, Search/Type-ahead, and loyalty features • Act as lead design partner to client executives, product owners, and engineering leaders • Facilitate alignment workshops and design reviews • Bridge business goals with user-centric design decisions • Validate concepts through usability testing and data-backed UX rationale • Lead sprint planning for design deliverables across parallel tracks • Ensure build-ready artifacts and annotated specifications are delivered on time • Work in the client's Figma environment for transparent co-creation • Pair with client designers and internal pod members to mentor, maintain quality standards, and execute knowledge handoffs • Integrate advanced, mobile-first, and store-companion patterns into the core experience • Direct end-to-end design strategy and govern unified design systems for a major retail e-commerce transformation

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of digital product design experience • At least 3+ years in a Lead or Principal Design role governing complex e-commerce or retail ecosystems • Deep hands-on experience designing for large-scale omnichannel retail • Experience with e-commerce conversion optimization, including Checkout, PDP, Cart, and Search • Experience designing mobile-first user journeys • Proven track record creating, maintaining, and scaling enterprise-level design systems • Experience using design tokens and shared pattern libraries across Web and Mobile Native frameworks • Expert-level mastery of Figma, including variables, auto-layout, advanced prototyping, component libraries, and developer handoff workflows • Strong understanding of front-end capabilities and constraints across web storefronts, such as Angular/Spartacus, and native mobile frameworks, such as Flutter • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to articulate complex design decisions clearly to non-designers • Experience with AI-assisted UX patterns (preferred) • Background in omnichannel store-companion or BOPIS user experiences (preferred)
