📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server • Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with versioning, security, and best-practice standards • Ensure service reliability through unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, and root-cause analysis • Collaborate on integrations between multiple systems and services using appropriate software design patterns • Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve existing solutions • Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to improve development efficiency and deployment quality • Collaborate with a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA • Deliver reliable, performant back-end services and integrations and help elevate engineering standards

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in production systems • Hands-on experience building back-end services with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server • Solid experience implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning and best practices • Strong understanding of database design and performance tuning • Proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization • Solid grasp of software design patterns and engineering best practices • Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis • Advanced English proficiency; all communication is in English • Effective communication skills in multicultural, fast-paced environments • Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure • Nice to have: familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development • Nice to have: exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
