📋 Description

• Lead the design and evolution of the client's data platform • Own the long-term data architecture strategy and align it with business strategy and goals • Lead migration of data pipelines to Microsoft Fabric and promote data to the curated golden layer • Design and evolve data lake and Delta Lake-based architectures on Azure Cloud Services • Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and standards for implementing the data architecture • Establish and promote data management and governance best practices • Collaborate with leadership teams and business stakeholders to address evolving business needs • Identify complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions • Provide advanced technical guidance to data development and architecture teams • Review design decisions and unblock complex implementation issues • Ensure compliance with applicable data security regulations and standards • Mentor and empower team members • Develop and maintain relationships with technology partners and suppliers • Represent data architecture in internal and external technical and strategic forums

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above), required for direct interaction with international stakeholders • Extensive, hands-on experience with data platform architecture, including data modeling and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes at scale • Proven experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Fabric • Experience with data lake design, implementation, and Delta Lake-based architectures • Demonstrated ability to guide teams through complex technology migrations and architectural changes • Strong mentoring and technical leadership skills, with experience supporting the growth of less experienced team members • Ability to explain complex data architecture concepts in clear, accessible terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Relevant Azure certifications related to data platform architecture or Microsoft Fabric (nice to have) • Experience defining data governance frameworks and data security compliance standards (nice to have) • Experience partnering with technology vendors and strategic suppliers on data platform initiatives (nice to have) • Background presenting technical or architectural strategy in cross-functional or executive forums (nice to have)
