📋 Description

• Design and execute test plans and test cases for a new integration/middleware layer connecting a partner portal to internal systems • Perform API-level functional, integration, and regression testing • Validate synchronous and asynchronous (event-driven) flows, including error handling and retry/dead-letter scenarios • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate documented business flows into test scenarios • Log, track, and verify defect resolution across environments (Development → QA → UAT → Production) • Support automation of API test suites where applicable • Validate security and access-control behavior (authentication, authorization, data segregation)

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with a focus on API/backend testing and independent ownership of test strategy • Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or equivalent tooling) • Experience writing and maintaining structured test cases and test plans • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing within a GitLab CI (or equivalent) workflow • Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services • Good English communication skills (B2+) — daily collaboration with a US-based team
