📋 Description

• Work as part of the Infrastructure team on sprints evolving Cint’s core platform and systems • Provide infrastructure and CI/CD expertise to wider engineering teams, often within their scrum teams on larger projects • Automate software build and deployment to Cint’s cloud platform • Eliminate repetitive manual operations through automation • Improve monitoring and alerting systems so engineering teams can operate applications in hands-off environments and gain operational insights • Participate in an on-call rotation and troubleshoot arising issues • Collect and communicate the overall infrastructure picture to help development teams achieve better results • Design, build, and develop secure, highly available infrastructure • Provide a self-service environment enabling software teams to move quickly, remain compliant, and take end-to-end product responsibility • Build and maintain infrastructure as code and continuous deployment pipelines

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in predominantly cloud infrastructure roles (AWS) within teams practicing DevOps • Ability to interact with AWS and GCP via CLI and/or API • Solid experience deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform; Ansible and Packer experience ideally • Excellent knowledge of building and running Docker images/containers • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including Git and continuous integration tools such as Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions • Understanding of cloud-native and 12-Factor applications • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting using Graphite, Statsd, Prometheus, or Grafana • Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language: Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, or Java • Knowledge of the L4 and L7 network stack, particularly inter-VPC routing • Experience managing DNS and resolver hierarchies • Ability to debug HTTP APIs and understand other L7 protocols • Experience administering Kubernetes • Cloud security expertise, including threat assessment, attack surface management, security groups, network ACLs, and data security • Experience building and running Windows servers in AWS • Experience with continuous deployment strategies and technologies • Ability to work in a team-oriented, complex problem-solving environment
