📋 Description

• Architect, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure for geographically distributed, event-driven systems processing high volumes of real-time events • Take a hands-on technical leadership approach to designing and optimizing highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure • Design, implement, and operate scalable and highly available Kubernetes infrastructure • Build and maintain cloud-agnostic Kubernetes environments optimized for real-time, high-throughput event processing • Develop resilient distributed systems and implement automated scaling strategies • Support and optimize event streaming infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security • Implement GitOps workflows and automate deployments, rollbacks, and infrastructure updates using Terraform/OpenTofu • Deploy and manage PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases within Kubernetes • Support monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for platform health and performance • Support Kubernetes security, networking, traffic management, and production troubleshooting • Collaborate with Go-based backend engineers and system architects across multiple cloud environments to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Kubernetes infrastructure for large-scale, event-driven systems • Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration, including networking, security, and scaling concepts • Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes workloads in AWS • Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform or OpenTofu • Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as Flux or ArgoCD • Experience with automated CI/CD deployments for Kubernetes • Strong Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills • Proficiency in Helm for packaging and deploying Kubernetes applications • Experience with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar systems • Familiarity with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Consul • Ability to collaborate with Go-based backend teams to optimize infrastructure automation and performance • Observability tools experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or ELK • Experience with advanced Kubernetes security practices such as OPA/Gatekeeper, secrets management, and network segmentation • Experience with networking, traffic management, and security solutions such as NGINX Ingress Controller, Cilium, or Calico • Multi-region deployment experience
