📋 Description

• Manage/review all statutory accounting work in the allocated portfolio • Prepare monthly tasks such as flux analysis and balance sheet reconciliations • Analyze accounts monthly to identify unusual or irregular transactions and recommend resolutions • Provide guidance to other statutory accounting staff and assist with mentoring to meet client deadlines • Prepare year-end financial close activities, including US-to-local-GAAP reconciliations and local-GAAP financial statements • Act as a key figure for quarterly and year-end audits • Serve as the main contact with auditors for preparation of the PBC list • Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax and finance projects • Support the financial department across various European countries

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics • Good MS Office Skills • Advanced Excel Skills • Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) • At least B2 level of German • Good knowledge of Accounting principles • 2-3 years experience working on accounting • Ability to organize large amounts of data • Attention to detail • Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements • SAP ERP knowledge is required • SSC environment would be an asset
