📋 Description
• Abstracting and submitting cancer tumor registry data for multiple hospitals • Maintaining accurate and complete cancer case ascertainment • Coding, classifying, and indexing the stage of disease and treatment information • Participating in Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation activities • Serving as a mentor and trainer on the Tumor Registry team
🎯 Requirements
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) Certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association • One year of experience in case abstraction for Level II • Five years of experience in case abstraction for Level III • High School Diploma for both levels, Associate's Degree preferred • College level Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology for Level III
