📋 Description

• Serve as a team member on customer projects covering design, architecture, integration, implementation, documentation, research, benchmarking, performance and functional testing, reference architectures, sizing, migration, development, and tooling • Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users, customers, and prospects for implementation, onboarding, production launches, and Proof of Concepts • Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on tasks • Handle L1 to L3 support cases and communications when not assigned to customer projects • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales on the product roadmap and account plans • Develop public and internal documentation, Knowledge Base articles, ClickHouse Learning content, reference architectures, blogs, and benchmark results • Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members • Support scheduling and on-call needs for high-quality 24x7 support in a global distributed environment, including up to 35% regional onsite travel

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, and/or Project Management roles • 5+ years of relevant industry experience implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed database management systems • Technical breadth and depth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems software engineering, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, system or network administration, and big data • Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects with multiple experienced engineers • Expertise with a public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and its infrastructure-as-a-service offerings, such as EC2 • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a customer-facing role • Ability to be self-driven, curious, and continuously learn and grow • Teamwork, global engagement, empathy, and problem-solving mindset • Availability for scheduling and on-call needs in a 24x7 global support environment • Up to 35% estimated onsite regional travel • Bonus: ClickHouse experience • Bonus: OSS and open-source technology experience • Bonus: Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS • Bonus: Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ
