📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical partner and advisor for prospects and customers evaluating or scaling ClickHouse • Work with Sales throughout the full lifecycle, from qualifying technical requirements through production deployment at scale • Design reference architectures, data models, and ingestion/query patterns tailored to customer use cases, scale, and existing data stacks • Own and run technical proofs of concept and benchmarks • Demonstrate ClickHouse performance, scalability, and cost advantages against incumbent solutions • Partner with Account Executives on technical account strategy, procurement and security reviews, and complex deal closure • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and workshops to engineers and VP/C-level stakeholders • Advise customers on schema design, query optimization, cluster sizing, replication, and database migration strategies • Provide structured customer feedback to product and engineering teams on gaps, feature requests, and competitive positioning • Build reusable assets, demos, blog posts, reference architectures, and sample applications • Contribute to team best practices, tooling, and onboarding materials

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Data Engineer, or Technical Consultant • Experience ideally at an infrastructure, database, or analytics company • Deep hands-on experience with SQL and analytical/OLAP databases such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Druid, Vertica, or Redshift • Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals, including partitioning, replication, consistency trade-offs, and query execution at scale • Comfort working with streaming systems such as Kafka, orchestration tools, BI tools, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Track record of influencing buying decisions through technical evaluations against competitive alternatives • Excellent communication skills for working with engineers and presenting to executives • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and hands-on technology work tied to revenue outcomes • Willingness to travel periodically for customer visits, conferences, and team events • Direct experience deploying or administering ClickHouse in production is a nice-to-have • Experience with real-time analytics, observability, or large-scale event/log data use cases is a nice-to-have • Contributions to open-source data infrastructure projects are a nice-to-have • Prior experience at an early-stage or hypergrowth startup is a nice-to-have
