📋 Description

• Plan, build, and continuously enhance Proxmox-based private cloud environments • Migrate existing VMware and other virtualization environments to Proxmox • Build and operate Kubernetes platforms, particularly with Rancher and RKE2 • Design highly available infrastructure and storage solutions, for example using Ceph • Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD • Advise customers on private cloud, hybrid cloud, and modern infrastructure • Analyze existing environments and develop suitable target architectures • Support technical workshops, migrations, and proofs of concept • Document architectures and technical decisions • Take responsibility for architectural decisions, technical standards, or team development, depending on experience • Collaborate with customers and the engineering team

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Proxmox VE • Solid Linux skills • Good foundational knowledge of virtualization, networking, and storage • Basic understanding of containers and containerized applications • Strong general IT infrastructure knowledge • Independent and structured approach to work • Interest in solving technical challenges collaboratively with customers • Very good German and good English skills • Willingness and ability to learn and develop expertise in Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Ceph, Terraform, Ansible, Azure, AWS, VMware-to-Proxmox migrations, highly available private cloud architectures, backup and disaster recovery concepts, network architectures, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and monitoring
