📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain the Patchman backend infrastructure • Develop and maintain new product features, from design through implementation and testing • Investigate and resolve complex issues reported by customers, digging deep into the codebase to identify root causes • Operate and maintain a large fleet of dedicated servers, including API gateways, load balancers, and internal processing nodes • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated delivery • Write and maintain comprehensive unit/integration tests to ensure code quality • Monitor performance and reliability of production systems, proactively identifying areas for improvement • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine architecture and contribute to technical direction

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend or DevOps Developer • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language • Experience designing backend services, with a solid understanding of performance, concurrency, scalability, and reliability • Hands-on experience building and running high-throughput data pipelines at scale using Apache Kafka, ClickHouse, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies • Experience with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, and in-memory databases, such as Redis • Strong understanding of different data storage paradigms, including relational, NoSQL, and in-memory key-value databases • Practical experience with Docker and Docker Compose for local development and production deployments • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes • Experience working with monitoring systems • Solid understanding of CI/CD best practices, including Git, automated testing, and deployment workflows • Excellent debugging skills and the ability to investigate complex technical issues • Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret metrics and user feedback to make data-driven decisions • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Upper-intermediate spoken and written English • **Nice to have** • Experience working with Django • Experience with configuration management systems, such as Puppet, Ansible, Salt, or similar tools
