• Position Type: Full-Time. • Location: Remote or Hybrid (Cambridge, MA). • Reports To: Payroll Team Lead. • CIP Group specializes in Employee Benefits, Retirement, HR Consulting, and Payroll Services. • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. • This role requires expertise in payroll systems and a proven ability to manage a fast-paced, dynamic workload with precision and professionalism. • Payroll Management: Process payroll for 4-5 clients across various industries with utmost accuracy and timeliness. • Utilize payroll systems such as Paylocity, PUSH, or ADP to manage and execute payroll processes. • Address payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees promptly and professionally. • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and inefficiencies. • Analyze and address complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Employee Relations: Support clients with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for employees. • Provide guidance on payroll-related matters, such as tax forms, deductions, and benefits. • Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate and organized payroll records with zero tolerance for errors. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their unique payroll needs and deliver customized solutions. • Foster positive relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for payroll-related matters.
• Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, with a proven track record of accuracy and reliability. • Proficiency in Paylocity, PUSH, or ADP payroll systems is required. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; zero-error tolerance is a must. • Experience handling employee relations, including onboarding and offboarding. • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with payroll compliance regulations and best practices.
