📋 Description

• CC Talent is looking for a Senior PHP E-commerce Engineer who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce plugins that facilitate the management of multiple payment gateways, methods, and related functionalities. • Their expertise in e-commerce plugin development and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, and WordPress is crucial for ensuring efficient and secure payment processes. • Lead the development and customization of complex e-commerce solutions using WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and other major e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. • Design and develop custom PHP solutions and plugins for e-commerce platforms, focusing on scalability, performance, and seamless integration with existing systems. • Create and maintain custom WordPress and WooCommerce themes, implement advanced customizations, and ensure mobile responsiveness across all platform elements. • Architect and implement multi-platform integrations between various e-commerce systems (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento), ensuring smooth data flow and consistent functionality. • Implement advanced performance optimization techniques for WordPress and WooCommerce sites, including caching solutions, code optimization, and server-side improvements. • Maintain platform security through regular updates, security audits, and implementation of best practices for e-commerce platforms, including PCI compliance measures. • Design and develop custom plugins for WordPress and WooCommerce to extend functionality and meet specific business requirements. • Establish testing procedures for platform updates, custom development work, and ensure compatibility across different e-commerce systems. • Work closely with design teams, content managers, and stakeholders to implement e-commerce solutions that align with business goals. • Provide expertise in platform selection, architecture decisions, and best practices for e-commerce implementations. • Mentor junior developers in platform-specific development. • Create comprehensive documentation for custom platform modifications, plugin implementations, and deployment procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and modern front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SASS/LESS). • Strong experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento) and payment gateway integrations (PayPal, Stripe). • Understanding of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and SEO for e-commerce. • Familiarity with headless commerce, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS). • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, caching solutions (Redis, Memcached), and Docker environments. • Knowledge of performance optimization and security standards (ISO8583, PCI DSS). • Willingness to learn and adapt to new e-commerce technologies.
