• Lead the technical onboarding process for new customers from initial kick-off to full operational status • Integrate customer log sources, including firewalls, servers, cloud platforms, and applications, with COGNNA's security data lake • Develop and configure custom parsers and data connectors for accurate data ingestion and normalization • Troubleshoot agent installations, log forwarding configurations, and connectivity issues on Linux and Windows Server customer systems • Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and OS-level issues that impede data collection • Improve onboarding processes through documentation and automation scripts • Advise clients on logging best practices and security architecture during onboarding • Collaborate with the Security Operations Center and account managers to ensure seamless client handover
• Hands-on experience in a technical cybersecurity role such as SOC Engineer, SIEM Engineer, or Security Consultant • 3+ years with direct responsibility for technical implementation or support • Production experience managing and troubleshooting Linux environments such as Ubuntu and CentOS • Production experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments • Expertise with major SIEM platforms, including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic Search, or Google SecOps • Deep proficiency in system administration, log management, and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows • Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell • Strong knowledge of network security architecture • Strong knowledge of cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP • Experience with security devices including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR • Experience with Google Cloud and management of Google SecOps • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated work ethic
