📋 Description

• Design and implement Agentic AI systems that power Coinbase’s customer support experience and compliance processes • Design and implement orchestration, guardrails and measurement techniques that ensure AI Agents are grounded and relevant and offer customer delight • Architect and develop distributed systems • Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with technical expertise • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards • Design and implement foundational APIs for use by LLMs • Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of customers

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering • You’ve experienced architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact • You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together • Ability to design and implement Agentic AI systems that power customer support and compliance processes • Ability to design and implement orchestration, guardrails and measurement techniques for AI Agents • Experience architecting and developing distributed systems • Experience designing and implementing foundational APIs for use by LLMs • Write high quality, well tested code • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards • Nice to haves: experience getting LLM based applications to production; measuring and improving LLM grounding and reducing hallucinations; experience in Customer Support, Compliance, or Financial Crimes domains
