• Remote work: Senior Network Delivery Engineer sits remote but with frequent travel to customer sites across the US. • Provide planning, design, configuration, deployment, and tier III network troubleshooting support to government customers. • Hands-on in planning, design, implementation, and deployment; provide technical guidance for current and future mission success. • Develop networking designs, studies, and plans; document wireless surveys; support WLAN controllers and routers/switches in CONUS/OCONUS. • Perform post-implementation validation surveys; manage networking processes and capacity planning; research tools/technologies to improve performance and reduce TCO. • Travel to customer sites; assist sales with designing current and future technologies; build BOMs; obtain certifications; rack/stack equipment; use Visio for diagrams. • Participate in engineer recruiting and other duties as assigned.
• 7-10 years related networking support experience. • 7-10 years troubleshooting route/switch, wireless, data center issues. • Experience with a wide range of network and performance management tools, security tools and appliances, layer two technologies, wireless communications, cloud computing and telecommunications services and technologies is preferred. • Minimum of a CCNP and/or ACP. • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer preferred. • Self-driven and resourceful in achieving goals independently as well as in cooperation with others • Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities • Must be comfortable with frequent travel throughout the US. • Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. • Travel: Travel is required for this role. Generally, travel will occur three to four times a month and may last 2 to 5 days depending on the project. • Frequency and length may fluctuate depending on project scope.
