📋 Description

• Review, develop and enhance credit policies, lender guides and standard operating procedures • Identify policy gaps and improvement opportunities, and recommend practical solutions • Act as a subject matter expert on credit policy, responsible lending and lending operations • Partner with product, lending and operational stakeholders to support initiatives and manage risk • Support review and maintenance of lender-facing and customer-facing collateral • Contribute to risk reporting, portfolio insights and monthly performance reporting • Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls and governance frameworks • Support safe customer and financial outcomes through strong credit risk management • Report to the Senior Manager Risk & Controls

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in home lending, credit risk, credit assessment or credit policy environments • Strong understanding of home loan products, credit policies, income assessment methodologies and lending documentation requirements • Knowledge of responsible lending obligations and the broader regulatory environment • Experience developing, reviewing or implementing policies, procedures or operational documentation • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence a range of audiences • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including interpreting data and identifying improvement opportunities • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex requirements into practical business outcomes • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with reporting and Excel-based analysis • Candidates currently working as Credit Risk Managers, Senior Credit Analysts, Senior Credit Assessors or experienced lending specialists with policy exposure are encouraged to apply
