📋 Description

• Modernize the company’s infrastructure • Tighten production support • Drive a CI/CD transformation • Build a mature DevOps function from inside the company • Work closely with Oscar on a day-to-day basis • Move the company’s AWS codebase into GitHub Actions

🎯 Requirements

• AWS infrastructure and operations experience, including EC2, Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, VPC networking fundamentals, and operational troubleshooting • Required experience with GitHub Actions, including workflow design, reusable workflows, secrets/OIDC, and migration of existing pipelines • CI/CD and deployment automation experience, including pipeline design and standardization and release management practices • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation • Monitoring and observability experience, including dashboard design, alerting strategy, and monitoring cleanup and rationalization • Experience with Datadog or an equivalent monitoring tool • Cost optimization and capacity planning experience, including AWS spend analysis, resource optimization, and scaling and de-scaling strategy • AWS security experience, including WAF administration and security best practices • Production support experience, including incident detection and response processes • Datadog administration and optimization preferred • Slack integrations for alerting preferred • Containers experience with ECS, EKS, or Docker preferred • Python or Bash scripting preferred • Financial services or other regulated-environment background preferred • AWS certification such as SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer Professional preferred
