📋 Description

• Build and operate high-scale backend pipelines and data-heavy systems • Design and implement production-grade ingestion and processing systems • Make architecture decisions based on real data volumes • Ensure reliable operation in Kubernetes and AWS environments • Perform occasional frontend work, including small UI tasks and new pages • Work primarily on backend systems design and implementation (approximately 80–85% backend)

🎯 Requirements

• Production experience with TypeScript and Node.js • Strong preference for NestJS experience; NestJS used as the main backend framework • Strong experience designing backend systems at high scale, including autoscaling, high availability, performance, resilience, and failure modes • Strong knowledge of event-driven systems, including Kafka-based ingestion/streaming, producers/consumers, pipelines, and batching concepts • Deep PostgreSQL/SQL skills, including schema modeling and query optimization • Hands-on Kafka experience strongly preferred • Working knowledge of Redis • Production familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes environments • Practical experience with logs, metrics, and tracing to monitor and debug production systems
