📋 Description

• Monitor, guide, and support volunteer conversations for adherence to policy and training through feedback, debriefing, coaching, and crisis intervention techniques • Respond to texter conversations as needed to support, problem solve, and de-escalate directly with texters • Work with Emergency Services to conduct active rescues and make mandated reports • Process a large volume of texts efficiently and prioritize attention appropriately • Improve the delivery of quality crisis intervention services • Collaborate with the coaching team to support volunteers and improve service delivery standards • Focus on meeting texter needs and delivering a better, more responsive service

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant Master’s level qualification in psychology, mental health nursing, social work, or psychotherapy • Four years of relevant work or voluntary experience accepted as equivalent to a Master’s Degree for candidates without one • At least two years’ relevant supervisory or managerial experience overseeing employees or volunteers • Good understanding of when to escalate service-user issues and solve problems quickly and effectively • Experience with mental health interventions or crisis management highly beneficial • Relevant experience and understanding of issues involved in providing services to young people • Working knowledge of relevant Child Protection legislation • Experience working with a similar organisation advantageous • Strongly empathetic, person-focused approach • Flexibility and ability to adapt working methods to changing situations • Comfort using technology and interest in its potential to drive positive mental health outcomes • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Excellent prioritisation, time management, and follow-up skills • Reflective and resilient • Offers subject to reference checks and Garda vetting clearance • Staff may be required to obtain Garda vetting clearance as a condition of initial and continued employment • Weekend work required • Availability for shifts scheduled between 8pm and 8am
