📋 Description

• Lead and oversee operational support for distributed systems, infrastructure services, and compute hardware across global environments • Ensure high-quality Systems Operations support across on-premises, cloud, and shared-service platforms • Maintain accountability for infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, recoverability, and operational readiness • Drive service management practices, operational governance, and continuous improvement • Manage Linux and Windows platforms across Azure and on-premises environments • Oversee compute infrastructure operations and lifecycle management, including UCS, blade, and virtualization platforms • Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams on operational supportability • Lead major incident response, executive communications, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem management • Establish and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and operational health indicators • Manage demand versus capacity, prioritize work intake, and drive capacity planning • Ensure alignment with security standards, regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, patch compliance, and risk reduction initiatives • Champion automation, observability, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, event correlation, and platform automation • Optimize infrastructure spend, asset utilization, budgeting, forecasting, and lifecycle management • Provide leadership across matrixed organizations and serve as an operational partner to business leaders and technology executives • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing global teams focused on operational excellence and client satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations, Systems Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Technology Leadership • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in large-scale enterprise environments • Proven experience supporting hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises platforms • Expertise supporting large-scale Linux and Windows environments • Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, service management, and operational governance • Experience leading major incident response and service restoration in high-availability environments • Strong prioritization skills based on value, risk, and capacity • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to lead under pressure and manage competing priorities in high-visibility environments • Understanding of infrastructure architecture, resiliency, security, scalability, and operational supportability • Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments • Preferred: experience with virtualization, compute, storage, and enterprise infrastructure platforms • Preferred: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automation platforms, and observability solutions • Preferred: experience supporting regulated industries and compliance-driven environments • Preferred: ITIL, Azure, or related infrastructure certifications
