📋 Description

• Develop new features and enhance existing systems, with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability • Propose structural improvements to the system, applying strong software architecture expertise • Implement integrations between internal and external services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Write clean, testable, and efficient code, following engineering best practices and industry standards • Create and execute automated and unit tests • Collaborate with product, QA, front-end, and data teams to ensure end-to-end delivery • Participate in code reviews and contribute to collective learning and the maintenance of technical standards • Monitor and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks • Document workflows, architectures, and adopted practices • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, backlog refinement, and retrospectives • Support junior developers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in back-end development with Java • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB) • Experience handling large data volumes and complex, resource-intensive queries • Knowledge of modular service architecture and RESTful APIs • Experience with automated testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD • Knowledge of AI-powered code generation tools (Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, among others) • Previous experience working on digital product teams and with Agile methodologies • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with effective communication with technical and business stakeholders • Preferred: experience in healthtech or highly technically complex companies • Preferred: experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, Beanstalk) • Preferred: experience developing solutions using AI tools • Preferred: experience with observability, monitoring, and SRE best practices • Preferred: previous experience in high-scale environments with high data volumes
