📋 Description

• Shape the vision and roadmap for how Confluent delivers real-time, context-rich data to AI systems. • Work with engineering and design to create new primitives for streaming-native AI, covering agents, inference, retrieval, and good ol’ fashion machine learning. • Partner with customers to understand how they’re applying AI to live operational data and turn those insights into clear product direction. • Prototype and iterate quickly, validating ideas through small, high-impact releases. • Validate market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, opportunity, business).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles. • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc). • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership • Experience with the domain area of Generative AI, LLMs, and agents. • Experience in data streaming and stream processing, particularly with Kafka and Flink • Hands-on AI experience, building applications that use models or training models • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering • Prior experience working on open source projects
