Connections Academy is a tuition-free, accredited K–12 online public school program operated by Connections Education (a Pearson division). It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Manage instructional programs from home • Consult regularly with learning coaches and students • Complete all grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences • Support instructional program with web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction • Communicate with parents, students and teachers on a regular basis • Develop a general knowledge of the curriculum and detailed knowledge of courses • Keep student records and data up-to-date • Participate in organization and administration of the State Testing • Manage regional field trips • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach in Oklahoma • Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs) • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Customer focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment • Team player track record • Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events • Ability to work remotely, if necessary • Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
