📋 Description

• You support project teams in the economic assessment of construction projects and, together with executive management, further develop the company’s claims/change-order management. • Preparation and handling of claims/change orders: You assess contractual deviations and prepare corresponding claim submissions. • Review of documentation: Analysis of bills of quantities, contracts and tender documents. • Identification of claim potential: Evaluation of economic opportunities during project execution. • Contract-related communication: Preparation of notices of hindrance (delay notifications) and other important correspondence. • Costing & evaluation: Financial assessment of claims and support in price determination. • Collaboration within the project team: Coordination with project managers, site managers and clients. • Preparation for negotiations: Support in claims negotiations and, prospectively, conduct negotiations independently. • Further development of the area: Active participation in shaping and optimizing the company’s claims processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in construction-related studies, e.g. Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering; alternatively advanced training as a construction technician or an equivalent technical qualification. • Technical understanding of construction processes and an interest in economic/financial interrelationships. • Knowledge of VOB/B and an understanding of contractual contexts. • Confident user of MS Office. • Fluent German for optimal internal and external communication. • Nice to have: Initial professional experience in the main construction sector. • Experience in estimating, site management, construction accounting or claims/change-order management. • Familiarity with bills of quantities and scope-of-work documents. • Negotiation skills in dealings with clients.
