📋 Description

• Own the CI/CD estate for Digital & Technology, designing, building, and continuously improving pipelines across applications and data platforms • Establish and enforce branching, release, and deployment standards, including environment promotion, release gates, and rollback • Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows as the primary automation backbone, including reusable workflows and composite actions • Migrate and rationalise existing Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories while maintaining a consistent toolchain during transition • Embed code quality and security gates, including SonarQube, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and secret screening • Implement Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, auditable environments using Terraform and/or Bicep • Partner with Data & AI teams to build CI/CD and data pipelines for Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, and Power BI deployments • Establish delivery-process observability using DORA metrics such as build health, deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and MTTR • Act as DevOps authority and coach across engineering teams, setting best practices and raising engineering maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a CI/CD DevOps role or equivalent • Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams instilling CI/CD best practices • Deep expertise with GitHub and GitHub Actions • Strong hands-on Azure DevOps experience • Experience implementing CI/CD best practices across multiple engineering teams • Knowledge of code quality and security tooling (SonarQube, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management) • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and/or Bicep • Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric and modern data platform delivery • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
