• Own and define the State & Local Government market strategy, including target sub-verticals, customer segments, solution focus, and partner ecosystem. • Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned to Convergint’s growth objectives and investment priorities • Lead, coach, and develop Vertical Market Managers; establish operating rhythms and performance expectations. • Act as the senior leader and subject matter authority for the Public Safety vertical with customers, partners, and industry associations. • Align Sales, Service Operations, Enablement, Marketing, Finance, and CTC leadership around the Public Safety vertical strategy. • Guide differentiated solution and bundle development that addresses critical customer outcomes. • Support high-impact, complex opportunities through executive-level engagement and strategic deal guidance. • Define and track vertical-level KPIs including revenue growth, margin, pipeline health, wallet share, and market expansion. • Provide regular executive updates on vertical performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred • Business, technology, engineering, or vertically relevant field preferred • 10+ years in technology, security, or vertically aligned industries • 5+ years in senior leadership roles with responsibility for strategy, revenue growth, and people leadership • Proven success building and scaling Public Safety market strategies across distributed sales organizations
